29 CFR 1960.29(d): The Agency did not make the investigative reports available to the Secretary or his authorized representative on request:   a) FCI Fort Dix, Joint Base MDL, Wrightstown, NJ:  On or about 11/16/2015, Correction Officers conducting their routine duties in the institution's housing units were allegedly exposed to instances of work place violence via inmate assaults.  While investigating the complaint of alleged work place violence, the Secretary's authorized representative, a USDOL/OSHA Compliance Safety & Health Officer requested statistics and investigation reports for incidents related to inmate assaults of corrections officers.  The Federal Bureau of Prisons refused this request.

29 CFR 1960.31(b): The Agency did not make available to the Secretary's inspectors all pertinent materials therein, related to the complaint of workplace violence within the inspected facility,  including but not limited to documents referenced in 1960.26(a)(1) which states "the Safety and Health Inspector shall be provided all available relevant information which pertains to the occupational safety and health of the workplace to be inspected, including safety and health hazard reports, injury and illness records, previous inspection reports, and reports of unsafe and unhealthful working conditions."    a)  FCI Fort Dix, Joint Base MDL, Wrightstown, NJ:  On or about 11/16/2015, Correction Officers conducting their routine duties in the institution's housing units were allegedly exposed to instances of work place violence via inmate assaults.  While investigating the complaint of alleged work place violence, the Secretary's authorized representative, a USDOL/OSHA Compliance Safety & Health Officer, requested statistics and investigation reports for incidents related to inmate assaults of corrections officers as well as training documents (lesson plans, power points, etc.) related to the prevention of inmate assaults on Correction Officers.  The Federal Bureau of Prisons refused this request.
