29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: JOBSITE: The employee placing a tarp on a steep sloped (8 in 12 pitched) roof, was not protected from the hazard of falling between 11ft. 4 inches to 32 ft. 4 inches to the ground by guardrails, personal fall arrest systems or other equivalent means. A. Secondino & Son, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard {29CFR 1926.501(b)(11)}, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 615555557, citation number 01, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/02/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 323 Fairfield Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.
