29 CFR 1910.36(b)(1): Two exit routes. At least two exit routes was not available in the workplace to permit prompt evacuation of employees and other building occupants during an emergency, except as allowed in paragraph (b)(3) of this section. The exit routes must be located as far away as practical from each other so that if one exit route is blocked by fire or smoke, employees can evacuate using the second exit route. (a) Dock: Employees were exposed to egress and fire hazards as there was only exit route available to dock employees in the morning and the evening once the door between the dock and the warehouse is locked. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: (a) West Wall by Electrical Area in Warehouse: Employees were exposed to electrical hazards as the electrical disconnect was blocked by the Ultra hand pallet jack. (b) Dock: Employees were exposed to electrical hazards as the breaker box was blocked by a pallet. This violation was abated during inspection. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
