29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder:    The following violations were observed on or about November 23, 2015.    a. On the NW side of a single family dwelling, employees using a Werner extension ladder were exposed to a fall hazard exceeding six feet when performing roofing work without the ladder placed such that the distance from the top support of the ladder to the foot was one-quarter the working length of the ladder.     b. On the SE side of a single family dwelling, employees using a Werner extension ladder were exposed to a fall hazard exceeding six feet when performing roofing work without the ladder placed such that the distance from the top support of the ladder to the foot was one-quarter the working length of the ladder.
