29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). On 11/30/2015, the GM Wentzville Assembly Center did not assess the workplace to determine what hazards were present. Employees working as weld monitors in the weld destruct lab and the new truck body shop areas were not required to wear chemical resistant gloves while exposed to the following chemicals: a) TEROSON PV 5918 Anti Flutter Adhesive b) BETAMATE 1486 Structural Adhesive
