The operator left the control panel while other employees passed by during the operation of the wrapper.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Space about electric equipment. Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: On or about 12/01/2015, Strait-Flex International located at 3851 Corporate Centre Drive, OFallon, MO, sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about an electric panel in the shop. The walkway/approach to the PP3 electrical 480 volt panel was measured at 8 inches due to bags of paper product. There was also a 24 inch x 24 inch scale placed directly in front of the electrical panel on the floor. This electrical panel provided electrical power to the Minster #1 press.
