29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On December 3, 2015 employees were not protected from a fall while performing roofing operations on a steep pitch commercial roof, exposing employees to a fall of 12.1 feet. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
