29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) An employee who was potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals while roller painting the bottom hull of fiberglass boats had not been provided with information concerning the location and availability of the employer's written hazard communication program. (b) An employee who was potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals while roller painting the bottom hull of fiberglass boats had not been trained on the details of the employer's hazard communication program. (c) As of 12/1/15, a painter had not been trained on the new chemical container label elements and the new format and types of information on each section of safety data sheets (SDSs).
