29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: Drill Site: On or about December 9, 2016, an employee mixing caustic chemicals used half-mask respirator (tight-fitting facepiece) who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face. This condition exposed the employee to health hazards.

This condition exposed the employees to respiratory hazards.
