29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Workers were observed engaged in commercial construction activities framing a new office building. Worker(s) were exposed to potential 12.2 fall hazards in that a proper fall protection system was not utilized. The Field Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1065265, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 29, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 503-506 Brownston Rd., Springboro, Ohio
