29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators. (a) Roof, new residential construction located on Lot #15 Stone Hall Drive, Marietta, GA 30062: Employer allowed employees to use the TranzSporter (Model - LH200) Platform Hoist as a ladder to access the roof and ground levels. The Manufacturer's general safety instructions state that this hoist should never be used as a ladder for personnel.
