29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: 1) Fayette Fabulous Finds, Fayetteville, GA - Employees were working on a steep roof (8 in 12 pitch) that was approximately 12 feet from the eave and 22 feet from the peak of the roof to the ground below without fall protection. Employees were in the process of installing roof shingles on a commercial building and were exposed to a fall hazard.
