29 CFR 1910.107(e)(2): The quantity of flammable liquids or liquids with a flashpoint greater than 199.4 degrees F (93 degrees C) kept in the vicinity of spraying operations were not a minimum required for operations or they exceeded a supply for one day or one shift:     a. Painting Area: On or about 12-16-15, approximately 9 open and unopened 1 gallon containers of the flammable solvent acetone were stored in the painting area and were more than what was needed for daily production.

Scrapers, spuds, or other such tools used for cleaning purposes were not of nonsparking material:      a. Painting Area: On or about 12-16-15 the floor areas below and adjacent to the spray booth were not kept as free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical.      b. Painting Area: On or about 12-16-15 steel scrapers were used to clean the combustible residue from the interior of the spray booth.
