29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that each of the hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the identity of the chemical contained therein: (a) The Hertz Corporation at 22385 East 78th Avenue, Denver, CO: On and before December 16th, 2015, the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the identity of the chemical contained therein. Employees used power washing equipment used to clean the exterior of cars. The power washing equipment pulled soap from plastic drums kept on the sides of the wash bays. The containers used to store this chemical did not have labeling that would identify the contents of the containers. This condition exposed employees to health and physical hazards.

Employees used power washing equipment used to clean the exterior of cars. The power washing equipment pulled soap from plastic drums kept on the sides of the wash bays. The containers used to store this chemical did not provide general information regarding the hazards of the stored chemicals. This condition exposed employees to health and physical hazards.
