29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. (a) On or about January 15, 2016, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to hazards associated with deficient housekeeping procedures, including extensive slip, trip, and fall hazards. (b) On or about January 15, 2016, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to hazards from buildup of combustible dust on work surfaces throughout the facility. Abatement note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (See Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet). Another option is to replace electrical installations with those designated for Class II Division II environments, as outlined in 29 CFR 1910.307.
