29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) In the Wausau Siding Systems Paint Shop, on the Production Line 1, the unloader arms which moved back and forth with and without product was not guarded exposing employees to struck by hazards. (b) In the Wausau Siding Systems Paint Shop, on the Production Line 1, the OMS Group (Model: TR-18102, S/N: 20982) binding machine was not guarded at the banding operation and when the board was being pushed into place under the load. (c) In the Wausau Siding Systems Paint Shop, on the Production Line 2, the OMS Group (Model: 08-TR18, S/N: 22393)binding machine was not guarded at the banding operation and when the board was being pushed into place under the load. (d) In the Wausau Siding Systems Paint Shop, on Production Line 1, rollers with vertical belts leading to the ARPAC TS-37 machine were not guarded exposing employees to inrunning nip points. (e) In the Wausau Siding Systems Paint Shop, on Production Line 2, rollers with vertical belts on the outfeed side of the spline operations were not guarded exposing employees to inrunning nip points.
