29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a working/walking surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet ( 1.8m ) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 1321 N. Sherman St, YORK PA, ROOFTOP - Employees were working on a roof setting and installing trusses for a new addition without the benefit of fall protection, thereby exposing employees to serious injuries, on or about February 2, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Ammon Stoltzfus Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 548118, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/31/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 481 A Lancer Drive, PA, 17512.
