29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a- 483 Cedar Bridge Road, Lakewood NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 8 feet to the ground surface below when performing roof shingle and plywood rip, tear, replace, and other related activities from both the lower and upper roofs of a residential structure without the use of ANY fall protection. These employees had not received fall protection training from the company. Condition observed on or about 02/04/16. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
