29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or a personal fall arrest system: a- 59 Allen Lane, Lawrenceville NJ: Company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 44 feet to the ground surface below, when performing roof shingle installation and other related activities from pitched roofs while wearing full body harnesses with no lanyards/connectors attached. Condition noted on or about 10/20/17. American Siding Construction Construction Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1122859, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/09/16, with respect to a workplace located at 483 Cedarbridge Road, Lakewood NJ 08701. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
