29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a) On or about February 11, 2016, and at times prior, Aspen View Homes, LLC., as the controlling employer, did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite so as to ensure that employees of Roof Crafters, LLC., a subcontractor, who were required to engage in roofing operations, were appropriately protected from fall hazards. An employee of Roof Crafters, LLC. was exposed to fall hazards of up to 24 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
