29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) Front porch roof, new residential construction located at 1646 Bunting Forest Court, Powder Springs, GA 30127: A mason was exposed to falls of approximately 9-feet, 10-inches while working from a 4/12 pitched roof removing masonry debris without a fall protection system in place. (b) Gable roof/rear porch roof, new residential construction located at 1646 Bunting Forest Court, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Three employees were exposed to falls of approximately 9-feet, 7-inches while installing bricks on the gable wall from a 12/12 pitched roof which rested on a 6/12 pitched roof with no fall protection system in place.
