29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: (a) Welding Department - On March 16, 2016, the employer did not ensure that a sufficient number of noncombustible or flameproof screens were used to protect employees adjacent to the welding area from rays while welding was being performed. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
