29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) On or about 11/11/15, on a roofing construction site at an apartment building, 68 Windwood Courts, Cheektowaga, NY: An employee engaged in clean-up work on the ground was struck in the head by a heavy wood plank that fell or was thrown off the roof. The employee was neither wearing nor provided with a protective helmet. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
