29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: a) Retail Cutting Room: The knob of the adjustable guard was broken on the Butcher Boy Vertical Meat Saw (model B-16-F, s/n 6-14885), exposing employees to an approximate 4 1/4 inch section of the unguarded moving blade, as observed on or about February 26, 2016. b) Holding Cooler Area: The guard on the saw blade of the Butcher Boy Vertical Meat Saw (model B-16-F, s/n 6-21411), did not completely cover the exposed blade, exposing employees to an approximate 4 1/4 inch section of the unguarded moving blade, as observed on or about February 26, 2016. CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION.
