29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(15): Ladders were not inspected by a competent person for visible defects on a periodic basis and after an occurrence that could affect their safe use: On or about March 3, 2016, and in times prior thereto, the name of the manufacturer, load capacity and safety instruction decals located on the side of a step ladder were obliterated and illegible, exposing employees to the hazards of falls from ladders.
