29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): "Roofing work on Low-slope roofs."  Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (b) of this  section, each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system:    a) On or about March 9, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite -  employees were working on a roof performing roofing activities including, but, not limited to tear-off, sheeting replacement and re-sheeting. The employees were working near unprotected sides/edges, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards of approximately seventeen (17) feet.     Torres Brothers, LLC was previously cited REPEAT for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1086890, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 1170 E. Higgins Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60707.    Torres Brothers, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1007934, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 25, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 10657 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60655.
