29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead:  (a) The employer is failing to protect employees from toxic substance hazards associated with surface accumulations of lead. This was most recently documented on or about March 15, 2016. Surfaces with accumulations of lead were found in the following instances:  (1) A 100 square centimeter wipe was sample taken on the desk in the Non-Ferrous Sorting Building. Lead was present.  (2) A 100 square centimeter wipe sample was taken on a chair in Picking Station #1 in Non-Ferrous Extraction. Lead was present.  Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
