29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  SHOP: The pinch point, created by the vertical pusher pin and guard of the Doboy Scotty II Horizontal Flow Wrapper Machine, Model SCCTTY & Serial Number 94 16657 was not guarded.                                                 On or about March 15, 2016, an employee's left middle finger was caught on the pinch point while trying to un-jam boxes while the machine was in operation, and the employee sustained an amputation to the tip of the finger from the incident.
