OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees who were exposed to pinch point hazards:    Department 9171 station 1815RF - On March 12, 2016, employees were required to use either a foot control or a one-hand control as hold-to-run controls to raise the FORI cart vertically and create a pinch point between the material on the cart (undercarriage and motor assembly) and the bottom of the automobile bodies.  The employer was relying on the awareness and skill of employees to protect the operator(s) from the pinch point created during the operation of the equipment.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
