29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: a) East end of building, floors one trough three, on or about 3-29-16: Employees were using a closed stairway for access to the upper floors, without a hand rail, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of up to 5 feet 8 inches. b) West end of building, floors one through three, on or about 3-29-16: Employees were using a closed stairway for access to the upper floors, without a hand rail, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of up to 5 feet 8 inches. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
