29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has successfully completed the training required by this paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5): a. On or about March 28, 2016, the employer did not ensure that each employee completed the powered industrial vehicle training program prior to being permitted to operate forklifts. Christy Catalytics was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1047807, citation number 1, item number 5, and was affirmed as final order on July 8, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 713 Keystone Street, Crooksville, Ohio 43731.
