(a)  In front of the house - On or about March 29, 2016 employees were exposed head injuries while other employees were working on scaffolds above them handling bricks.  None of the employees on-site were wearing hardhats.

Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. 29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer shall have each employee who is involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. The training shall include the following topics, as applicable:  (a) Construction site - On or about March 29, 2016 employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working on a scaffold without training on how to erect, disassemble, move, maintain, repair, and inspect these scaffolds. This scaffold: 1) was missing base-plates 2) was not fully decked or planked 3) had no guardrails installed 4) had no ladders installed 5) was placed on unstable objects.
