The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on April 6, 2016, when employees installing roofing shingles on a 6:12 pitch at 5185 Datil Pepper Road, in St. Augustine, FL 32086 were exposed to an 8 feet fall hazard above the ground in that they did not have a fall protection system installed.    Rogero & Williams Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1092339, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on October 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 12808 Quincy Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
