29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a) 35 Thousand Oaks Blvd - The employer assigned temporary workers to Phytogenx Inc. in Morgantown Pennsylvania. The employer did not evaluate or determine that these workers were being exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to flammable liquids. Temporary employees were required to clean equipment with 70% isopropyl alcohol and 99% isopropyl alcohol and worked in processes that involved the use, transfer, and/or bottling of products containing 96% ethyl alcohol (SDA 40B) on or about December 17, 2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
