29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about April 8, 2016 at 527 Kensley Ave, Fairhope, Al: The employer failed to ensure an employee installing sheathing on a residential house with a 8:12 pitch roof used fall protection to prevent falls of 10 feet. b) On or about April 8, 2016 at 527 Kensley Ave, Fairhope, Al: The employer failed to ensure a ladder was available on the job site for use when getting onto the roof. An employee climber the cross bracing and wall studs to get up and down from the roof which exposed him to falls of up to 10 feet.
