Employees framing at levels greater than 20 feet were observed walking the top plate while installing trusses. Violation observed on or about April 22, 2016

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: a. 19 Braeburn Dr., Skillman, NJ - Building 2001-2006 (Montgomery Ridge) Employees engaged in residential framing activities used an A-frame stepladder in a manner not intended by the manufacturer . An employee was observed using a 6 foot A-frame ladder, sanding on the next to top step and bridging over the top step and standing on the opposite side brace as a means to install trusses. Violation observed on or about April 22, 2016
