Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to chemical hazards:    Wash Area: On or about April 22, 2016, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from potential mixing of incompatible chemicals, including but not limited to, oxidizers contained in sodium percarbonate with acids contained in sodium tripolyphosphate (triphosphoric acid), reducing agents in sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, and sodium hypochlorites and sodium chlorides contained in Wricochlor Max, which were stored and transferred next to each other.
