29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) Construction site, retail building - On or about April 11, 2016, Employees welding perimeter angle at heights above grade between 16 feet 6 inches at the rear of the structure, and 18 feet 2 inches at the front of the structure were not protected from falling. TWIN HOLLOW CONSTRUCTION, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number993742, Citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/27/2014, with respect to a workplace located at Shoprite Of Hainesport 1520 Route 38 East Hainesport, NJ.
