OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to amputation hazards: a. On or about April 26, 2016 in the planer department , at the trim saw, on the Hemco lug loader machine, an employee was not adequately trained in the operation and safety procedures to be flowed when operating the machine, exposing the employee to amputation hazards.
