29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: (a) At the facility, on or about 5/11/2016: Where several employees were required to use half face cartridge respirators for certain tasks, the employees had not been provided with up to date medical evaluations to insure their ability to use the respiratory protection. Abatement certification must be submitted.
