29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) The floors and work bench areas in die casting were not effectively cleaned to remove flashing and dust to reduce potential exposure to lead working in the areas. b) The lunch room table and lunch room door knob were determined to have lead contamination with employees potentially exposed during eating, drinking and smoking in this area.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level: a) The aisle leading to the exit, in the north west corner of the die cast area, was obstructed by a cart with 4 inches clearance on one side and 14 inches on the other to obstruct access.
