29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about May 9, 2016, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 2648 Conrad Ave. Akron, Ohio 44314; the employer did not ensure employees working on a residential roof were protected from a fall of a height of approximately 10.6 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. (a)The Sunset Construction CO. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1072034, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/23/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1822 Marietta Ave., Parma Ohio 44134. (b) The Sunset Construction CO. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 990796, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/26/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 6998 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights Ohio 44130. (c) The Sunset Construction CO. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 991654, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/26/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 600 Eastwood Rd, Hinckley Ohio 44233.
