29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet (1.22 m) or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3) of this section) on all open sides:    On or about May 04, 2016, employees were working on a rig site. Employees of Globe Energy Services removed the platform railing while an employee of another company was still working on it. The Rig Operator instructed them to do so. Therefore, Globe Energy Services was the controlling and exposing entity. This condition exposed the employee to fall hazards of more than four feet to the ground below.
