29 CFR 1910.23(c)(3): Regardless of height, open-sided floors, walkways, platforms, or runways above or adjacent to dangerous equipment, pickling or galvanizing tanks, degreasing units, and similar hazards were not guarded with a standard railing and toe board: a) Employees were using Alpine Linear Saw (ALS) HiSpeed Model 276 saws with waste conveyor belts which deposit wood debris into unguarded floor openings where a screw conveyor is located, on or about 05/18/16. b) Employees were working near the maintenance shop and/or moving cut wood pieces to the truss assembly area near the Patz Waste Conveyor where there was an inadequately guarded floor opening where a screw conveyor is located (the railings were not the required height and there were no toe boards), on or about 05/18/16.
