29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by ingoing nip points, and rotating parts: On or about May 18, 2016 - Employees engaged in production activities at the AJ Treater Solution Coating and Dryer machine located in the Rewind Room were exposed to caught-between and amputation hazards in that machine guarding was not provided and utilized at ingoing nip points associated with the rollers. 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
