29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) For employees working at 210 Archer Way located in Anna Maria Island, as observed on or about 19 may, 2016. Employees were installing roofing material on a low slope residential roof without the use of any type of personal fall arrest system. Eave to ground height measured approximately 8 feet 6 inches.  Gary T. Bringman Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316417716, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/26/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1435 Westway Drive, Sarasota, FL 34236.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) For employees working at 210 Archer Way located in Anna Maria Island, as observed on or about 19 may, 2016. Employees were installing roofing material on a low slope residential roof. Employees were using an extension ladder to gain access to the upper landing surface. The ladder side rails were not extended a minimum of 3 feet above the upper landing surface. Eave to ground height measured approximately 8 feet 6 inches.  Gary T. Bringman Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 471039, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/16/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1435 Westway Drive, Sarasota, FL 34236.  Gary T. Bringman Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316417716, citation number 01, item number 002a and was affirmed as a final order on 3/26/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1435 Westway Drive, Sarasota, FL 34236.
