29 CFR 1910.269(l)(3)(iii): The employer shall ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to exposed energized parts than the employer's established minimum approach distance. a. On or about May 24, 2016 on a project site located at 2024 Van Buren Street in New Holstein, WI, employees were exposed to electrical shock and electrocution while cutting tree limbs that had the potential to break the minimum approach distance or to contact energized 69kV transmission power lines.
