29 CFR 1910.37(a): Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit was not marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, nor was it marked with a sign indicating its actual use.   At the south east of the engine room, the employer did not place a sign to identify a door as "not an exit" exposing employees to ammonia, fire and smoke hazards.

29 CFR 1910.147(d)(3): All energy isolating devices that were needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment was not physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source.     On the roof at the evaporator EC2, employees were exposed to electrical hazards when a lock or tag was not placed on the sump 1 heater electrical panel box during maintenance and shut down.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.     The ammonia refrigeration engine room did not have an eyewash and shower station installed outside of the engine room near the exit door exposing employees to eye and dermal hazards.  Americold Logistics, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number983591, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/25/2014, with respect to a workplace located at2007 W. Mary St., Garden City, KS. 67846.

On the roof at the evaporator EC1, employees were exposed to electrical hazards while working near a junction box with a missing cover plate and live wires were visible.   Americold Logistics, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.305(b)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316384957, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on September 7, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 215 East Air Depot Rd., Gadsden, AL. 35905.
