29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On the east side of the construction site, employees engaged in roofing activities on a 8/12 roof pitch without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet to the ground below. Andres Escarzaga was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314279795, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on August 19, 2011, with a final abatement date of August 10, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1010 Brook Forest Lane, Euless, Texas 76039.
