29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Main roof, 55 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA - Steep-sloped roofing repairs of the main roof of a three-story commercial establishment were performed without the presence of guardrail systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems exposing employees to fall hazards that ranged between sixteen-foot (16') above lower levels to twenty eight-foot (28') above ground level as observed, on or about June 9, 2016. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement documentation is required for this violation.
